Pregnancy, Abortion and the Right to Life

Wade case the "right to privacy" and gave women the right to abort their unborn child only in the first trimester of her pregnancy. But people don't understand that the right to privacy is not in the constitution, neither is abortion. So basically women's rights are not being violated. The final decision from the Supreme Court made abortion legal. "Since the legalization of abortion in 1973, over 56 million unborn children have been killed, more than the entire population of Spain. That's 155 babies per hour. About 1 every 24 seconds" (Mull). Each individual on the planet has some kind of effect and touches somebody's life somehow. These unborn children never had the opportunity to live and have any kind of effect on the world. If the Roe versus Wade case was changed, then infants over the world would be spared. They would have the capacity to live. A great many people don't consider being appreciative for being conceived, yet being conceived is benefit that 40 million individuals were denied. After the case was final, anti-abortion organizations were formed and expanded over the years. The organizations would protest, commit vandalism, and send out bomb and death threats. This was not how the outcome should have been, but the organization wanted to express how they felt about the decision made. A human's life should be more valuable than just a choice. In order for the violence to stop, abortion should not be legal.
The main reason why the debate between the two sides is still active is because both sides believe human life begins at different stages; also known as personhood. Ronald Regan, republican president (1981-1989), was a pro-life supporter and tried to advocate a constitution amendment banning all abortions except when necessary to save the life of the mother. "Simple morality dictates that unless and until someone can prove the unborn human is not alive, we must give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it.
