Euthanasia and the End of Life

It shouldn't be an issue to get the medical service this man needs. There were moments when I questioned, "Why not overlook the restraints the law holds on medicine and step in?" In fact, there are licensed medical doctors that do it, despite the laws and rules of where they are. Ask Dr. Lawrence D. Egbert, an anesthesiologist who lost his medical license assisting patients in suicide. He was a M.D in the Final Exit Network, which offers aid to people who are suffering from an "intolerable medical circumstance. It continues to state that: "Dr. Egbert reviewed their applications and medical records and recommended accepting them as members," said the order, which was signed by Christine A. Farrelly, the executive director of the Board of Physicians. "Dr. Egbert attended their suicide rehearsals. He held each member's hand and talked to him or her." Dr. Egbert states in an interview that he doesn't regret his decision and that the state has "misportrayed him" and that they should have the exit program available to any patient with an incurable, horrible disease that they've tried everything on, and it doesn't seem to work. A doctor willing to lose his license instead of watch people suffer. It continues with the boring technicalities of the case, however what I draw from this is a man who is willingly going beyond what is required from his a medical doctor. They admit that most doctors that do this sort of work do so silently, and incognito. Egbert felt as if it was necessary and always spoke out on the matter. As you can tell, the ones who are trying to help go down and are okay with speaking out on the matter, and the ones who aren't speaking out, who knows what they really are up to. I'm not saying what Egbert did was right; however it is more honorable to back your decision and hold to it, than doing so in silence. .
Dr. Donald Low just wanted to die with dignity.
