This certificate is issued by NBA only to those departments which maintain a high level of standards of their teaching scheme, library, & laboratories. During the journey of completion of undergraduate I was very much successful to maintain these standards, because I have got first class distinction in aggregate. It was very intricate getting an admission to my college due to such high standards of college and university. Since I secured 81.56% in my diploma, I was amongst a few lucky one who were able to attain admission because there is only 10% reservation those who come from diploma backgorund.
At diploma level, which was 3 year program, my interest became more focused. It had also made me more organized and developed healthy reading habits. This was only because of thorough examination practice of my institute, Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology, Nadiad. It was only Deemed University in the state by that time and also it is ISO 9001:2000 certified. Its 15 day assessment method made me more punctual and very much serious about studies. I was very fortunate to have good laboratories and excellent professors with experience nearly more than my age. With their guidance and my hard work I had got my gold medal for maintaining first in academics in my discipline of chemical engineering.
My schooling was among the best. With 90.86% in S.S.C in G.S.E.B.Exams I was only one in the school history having this much higher percentage. A passion to maintain first rank is my inclination since my first standard. In my fifth standard I was first in the examination for scholarship at district level. I have always performed well in all science subjects and find it challenging to apply the knowledge to practical problems. For this reason I chose to undertake a project in my final year on 4, 4'- DIHYDROXY DIPHENYL SULPHONE. In the project I worked with a partner As a team, we worked out starting from properties of raw materials & product, literature survey, selection of process for manufacturing, material & energy balance with computer generated flow sheets.
