The Industrialization of Japan and Germany

The industrial revolution was a turning point in history that paved the way for technological, scientific, and cultural advancements. These improvements came at the price of the public safety and health of the lower and middle class families and only after these issues were addressed did society begin to change in a positive way which included the idea of militarization. .
             Industrialization spread from Britain to other European countries, including Belgium and France but most importantly Germany. During this time Germany was a period of decline that would finally lead to the conclusion of the Empire during the Napoleonic Wars. Fredrick William the great elector unified Prussia with Brandenburg which was a German state at the time it helped to establish a strong military. In the mid 1700's King Frederick II aka (Frederick the Great) came to power. He kept military and reform. he allowed religious toleration and reform he invade Austria in 1740 this led to the war of Austrian succession. Later in 1756 fredrick attacked saxony which was a Allie with Russia. This was known as the 7 years war AKA the french and indian war in America. .
             The first steps toward Industrialization in Germany is when parents sent their children to learn through English education about Industrialization. "The Industrial Revolution was another of those extraordinary jumps forward in the story of civilization." (Stephen Gardiner) Another factor to the beginning of Germany industrializing was when the British imported British workers and machines that taught Germans of the English ways. After beginning to form industries and factories Germans began to build railroads to help the Industrialization.
