Business, Ethics and Morals

The spokesperson has now limited the buyer of their shirts. .
Then there are label opinions and this is a sensitive area as well. The difference between the facts and opinions in this situation is touchy. It is a fact that the inside label says made in Mexico and the outside says American made. It is an opinion of the spokesperson for the company that "American Made" referred to the actual person wearing the shirt. This leads into being objective. The company should have recognized their own biases and strived to keep it from distorting a message. They are biases by labeling the American made to defend the statement that was made by someone else. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture for the business and not limiting the person to one group of people. If the company would have known that this would have created a communication problem I don't think they would have printed the t-shirts. How a business communicates with the customers is always important because the customers keep the business growing. So this is an error because the receivers do not understand the company's point of view easily. The company did use inclusive language because they narrowed everything down to just Americans. Lastly, they have to give credit. By selling the shirts with the made in Mexico tag they are giving credit to the where the shirts were actually made. This decision was the best thing for the company to do. Overall not every customer is going to be happy with the products that a business produces. The business's job is to keep the business going and to meet the needs of all customers. While limiting this shirt to Americans and the misunderstanding of the customer the shirt was still patriotic. One complaining customer in this case is not enough to just do away with shirts in my opinion. .
             CASE 2.
The mastermind of most companies is the man behind the scenes. That person is better known as the manager.
