Today with everything being computer based it takes someone with a real special set of skills to be able to handle the HR position. That is why I believe there has been a trend of personnel either stepping down or getting fired from that position a lot here over the last few years. This person doesn't just help the company they run it, and make sure it runs at a very high capacity. .

             As now more than ever we can see such a huge difference purely from the administrative side of things. They mostly keep the company books, ensure that employees are getting the right benefits, and process people in so that the company can get them inside the door and working as fast as possible. Now human resources run the business for the CEO's and do so much work to help get the company an advantage over other companies. They set company objectives and individual employee objectives making sure that these goals are to be taken serious. Now that they are contracted with the power to fire and hire employees they can pick and choose who they want to keep. The human resources personnel have to make sure that the people they have hired are going to make an impact with the system that is set up. It is crazy to think that someone in HR in the beginning had little to no power inside of the company and now they run it. Needless to say human resources has come a long way since then.
