America in the 1920's


            The roaring twenties were a time for positive change. The Twenties were indeed a decade that roared for Canadians. It was a time of discoveries, new inventions, machines and improvements in technology. These new inventions and gadgets improved and dramatically changed how peoples lived there life's and it made life easier. The lives of the woman's were improving the quality of life thought out the 1920`s. The roaring twenties roared for all Canadians. .
             New discoveries, invention in technology helps Canadians live an easier life. Communication with others was made easier by the invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell. The lives of Canadians and people around were change forever. Before the phone was invented, people had to meet up in person and communicate, now people just had to turn the generator crank and talk into the mouthpiece. By 1929 most of the families had a telephone to communicate with each other. The telephone took time to perfect but, this Canadian invention brought people closer to each other and became part of their daily lives. .
             Transportation and mobility was improved for Canadian to make life easier. At the time transportation and mobility was expensive or time consuming. The Model T was an automobile the Henry Ford built. It was more affordable than the average care and fast then the average train or street car. By building an assembly line the parts was standardized and mass produced, this made the parts and the car cheaper. The Model Ts flooded the market and set the standard for other companies, as it also created jobs for the automobile industries. The Model T had made a significance in transportation and mobility and changed the world. .
             The quality for women was improving and change during the 1920's. Woman got freedom to where anything and the clothing style has changed. The "boyish" look was the modern look. It indicated that women were freer to do more and were more equal to men around them.
