The Silent Scream of Abortion

This is proceeded by the insertion of a clamp like instrument into the cervix to locate, crush, and destroy the fetus. The extraction of the fetus is followed by severing, collapsing, and cutting the umbilical cord, which is the life supply to the fetus. Then the doctors begin to break apart the body by starting with the extremities, following with portions of the back such as the spinal cord and torso. The next step is the removal of the head, but only after it is crushed by the clamp like instrument and removed by pieces. Once the fetus is extracted, reassembly of the fetus begins in order to assure that no part was left inside the womb. Finally, a curet is inserted into the uterus and the doctors begin to scrape the walls of the womb to remove any possible leftover fragments or shreds. This process of taking a fetus' life takes about 5-10 minutes.
The fact that these fetuses can be considered persons is also proven by the guilt of the many doctors who have performed these procedures. There are over 20 million abortions, annually making it the most common procedure done in the United States. In the U.S there is about 120,000 late abortions which occur at about 4-9 months into the pregnancy; that is 400 abortions a day ("Eclipse of Reason"). In the Documentary "Eclipse of Reason," Dr. Bernard Nathanson MD. shows us a different side of abortion that has never been presented, or at least is not a very common topic of discussion; he shares the horror of taking another human being's life without their being able to say a word about it. Dr. Nathanson was an abortion specialist for over 20 years, being responsible for the removal of over 75,000 unborn children. After medical advances in studying fetal responses, he has now devoted over 10 years to fighting to put an end to abortion. .
Another former director of abortion clinic in Georgia stated, "I was killing babies and not serving women.
