There is no other food that will delight, elate, or energize me as pizza does. Whether it is the garlic, smothered crust pizza from Dominos, the mile-long stretchable cheese pizza from Pizza Hut, or my favorite, the irresistible supreme pan pizza from Papa John's. On any day of the week, any time of the day, pizza will completely satisfy my hunger. It is like the air to my lungs, something I can not possibly live without. Out of all the foods I enjoy feasting on, pizza is by far my favorite. .
Often, my hunger shoots to the sky as if I have never ate in a whole week. I feel like the man from Survivor Man; where he goes long, dreadful days on end, without eating a single meal. As desperate as every marathon runner trying to reach the finish line, I call my local pizzeria. "Hello, thank you for calling; how can I help you" says the enthusiastic employee, desperately, I said, "Yes, may I have two medium pan pizzas, topped with pepperoni, ham and jalapeños." The employee estimated that the pizza would arrive in about forty-five minutes, but to me it was felt like eternity. Looking at the time, it moved slower than Christmas. My delicious pizza was not getting here any quicker, and I was getting more and more impatient. Alas, the eternity-feeling forty-five minute wait came to a sudden end, and I felt a rush of adrenaline as the driver gently knocked on my front door. The long wait was finally over, and I was moments away from quenching and satisfying my deeper-than-the-sea hunger. .
The irresistible smell of the pizza flew across every square inch of my house and filled my lungs with the most eatable aroma known to man. From the four legged table the pizza yelled at me, "You know you want a piece of this!" Inhaling the aromatic smell of freshly baked pizza was like filling your lungs with the richest smell on earth. The first deep sniff is mesmerizing, completely hypnotizing, and inducing.
