Philosophy of life is a vision of the way life should be lived. In this case, my philosophy of life is that one should be responsible for his or her life by learning to make the very best of the situations in their lives. These situations could be positive or negative. In other words, one should be answer reasonably for one's conduct. One's philosophy of life is inspired by mentors or role models in someone's life. These could be their parents, teachers, brothers or sisters, or celebrities from whom one learns various attributes that inspire their philosophies in life. In this case, Oprah Winfrey is one who inspired my philosophy of not only being responsible for my life but also doing the best at the current moment that puts me in the best place in the future moment.
Oprah is considered a role model. When one hears that word many people think of something or someone who has impacted their life in a positive way. In my opinion a perfect example of a role model is Oprah Winfrey. She's an African American who is not only a symbol for black people everywhere, but a symbol for all people. The Academy of Achievement has referred to Oprah Winfrey as one of the most successful and admirable woman in America. She is a woman that many people across America trust, respect, and look up to. Her ability to capture the hearts of many has distinguished her role in today's society. Oprah has live through a rough childhood, has had a great education, and has received many awards as well as recognition. Her efforts in providing and giving back to America as well as other parts in the world has gotten her the title of being one of the world's most influential people. .
Oprah's experience of hardship throughout her early years and the ability to make the best out of these hardships inspired me. Oprah's birth day was on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Vernita Lee and Vernon Winfrey, aged 18 and 20 respectively.
