Nothing is permanent in this world except for change. We all live in a constantly changing society.
Fallsgrove community when I moved in two years ago was just an ordinary residential community with a few houses. The surrounding was desolate. Over the next two years it has become the fashionable new address in Rockville, Maryland. Along with the new development to Fallsgrove brought thousands of new residents and commerce. Now everyone can dine at over 30 restaurants. With that many, there sure to be a restaurants to satisfy everyone's needs and taste. .
Housing has also changed a significant amount. In addition to the single homes, luxury town homes, condominiums and apartments were added to cater the population expansion. The original recreation center was also redesigned with a brand new gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Above that, a 5 mile bike and hike trail was constructed to provide the residents with more outdoor activities. .
Outside the community, the city's also changing rapidly. The highway system has and is still expanding to accommodate the busy populace. The highway systems have grown from 4 lanes to 8 lanes. This helped reduce a tremendous amount of traffic and gave the city a more developed look. With the help of the new highway systems, getting in and out of Maryland couldn't be easier. Interstate highways are accessible from virtually anywhere. .
City life, due to the expansion and development has been redefined. Before, it was just movies or local fairs. Now, dance floors, clubs, stores and shops lined the streets. It gave city a new, and attractive look that has appealed to many. .
Of course, the most crucial part of a community is its education. The schools" over all performance rose year after year, always placing higher than national average. The high school, Thomas S. Wootton High School where I attended had such a high performance it was recognized by the President of the United States to be a National Blue Ribbon School for the past two years.
