This is because, limited but enough resources will be given to the rich and adequate amount of resources will be given to the poor. Though the governments should take appropriate actions for this issue, the people should also come forward and participate in the distribution of resources. Every village or colony should have a community institution of its own, so that even the people of that community can divide the resources equally among themselves. In this way, the government shall be both helped in this job and also checked, if they indulge in any corrupt practices, such as, using up all the resources for their own profit.
The next important problem is pollution. Pollution is the harm to people and to the environment caused by the excess of toxic or poisonous chemicals from people's activities. Most common sources of pollution are wastes from industries, automobiles and agriculture. Pollution has also led to global warming- a condition where the earth's temperature is increased by a few notches but its effects are extremely harmful. Some of the sources that cause pollution and their adverse effects are: Smoke from fires, factories and automobiles: When we burn waste, factories and automobiles emit harmful gaseous elements to the air, air pollution is caused. One of the major reasons of global warming, air pollution causes the air we breathe to be filled with harmful gases like carbon monoxide, Sulphur dioxide, SPM and other such gases. When we breathe this air, we get prone to respiratory diseases like asthma and even lung cancer.
Toxic chemicals and waste products released from factories and houses: Most of them are dumped or released into rivers and lakes, thus contaminating our water bodies. This contamination has severe adverse effects. Firstly, it damages aquatic life. Secondly, it contaminates the water we consume, and after consumption, we stand at the risk of suffering from water-borne diseases like cholera.
