Abstinence and Birth Control

It could cost up to eight hundred dollars without medical care. Some different side effects that are possible are irregular bleeding for the first six to twelve months, weight gain or weight loss, and pain or bruising of place of insertion.  I started using the Implanon May 31, 2012. My mother thought her two young daughters had to be on birth control because some guy would pressure us into being sexually active. All my friends would tell me how much they enjoyed it, and I was always so against having sex. I would look down on my friends for doing it so young and not being in a relationship even made it worse. Some personal side effects I experienced were periods for nine months at a time, cramping constantly, and always in a bad mood. This is how most girls would be on their menstrual cycle but for nine months straight. Some recent issues I have experienced is being on my period for a month straight and aching cramps. I have gone to the doctors and they prescribed me the pill for a month to stop my period.  .
This is after having the Implanon for two and a half years. The safety and effectiveness of using the Implanon is sort of risky. You should not use it if you are already pregnant because it could affect your newborn. If you have breast cancer you should not use it either. It is very effective, just be careful when taking other medications because it can affect the effectiveness of the inserted object. Another form of birth control is the pill. For example, "The pill contains estrogen and progestin" ("Birth Control Pills"). This is orally taken. It costs up to fifty dollars every month. Some side effects that usually take place are nausea and vomiting, tender breasts, bleeding between periods or just having irregular periods. Taking the pill has no effects on breast cancer at all. I am currently on the pill and it is hard to remember to take it every day at the same time.
