A wonderful tourist treasure and a treat for shopaholics, Bangkok is the capital and the largest urban area of Thailand. My family and I visited Bangkok the first time during November of 2014.We landed on the Suvarnabhumi Aiport without any delay on half past one in the afternoon.Heading towards to our hotel, which is located just beside of the Chao Phraya river. This hotel is Very central and easy to get around anywhere in Bangkok, tuk tuks are cheap and easily accessible anywhere on the streets.Besides that,we are able to get access around Bangkok with the metro and there is a station just a 5 minutes walk to there. On the first day we are not able to visit any attractions a so we had SPA in our hotel. We went to a restaurant name Salathip in my hotel to have our early dinner. That was a quintessential Thai dining experience by the River of Kings. Savour authentic cuisine in Thai-style teak pavilions while enjoying classical Thai dance performances. On the next day,we went to a few beauty spots in the city of Bangkok including The grand palace,Wat Arun and also the Jim Thompson House. The grand palace is one of the must go of Bangkok because of its iconic and its architecture. .
Within the palace complex are several impressive buildings including Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which contains the small, very famous and greatly revered Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century.Next,Wat Arun or known as the temple of the dawn.It is easily one of the most stunning temple in Bangkok. It is because of the design of the temple is one-of-a-kind in Bangkok. It is absolutely stunning during sunset, particularly when lit up at night.Jim Thompson house is the lovely-garden enclosed when the east meets the west.It is currently an museum and it is a traditional thai style villa compound before this. The third day in Bangkok we woke up a bit earlier and we took a tuk tuk to a nearby market to get some thai style delectable.
