Romeo and Juliet - Love Builds and Destroys


            In the play "Romeo and Juliet," William Shakespeare demonstrates that love can build and destroy communities in many diverse ways. The rivalry between Capulet and Montague arises destruction. Many unfortunate events and deaths occur because of the unique love that Romeo and Juliet share. While love causes great tragedy, it is also love that ultimately reconciles the communities of Verona. Romeo and Juliet displays various kinds of love. Love is a strong feeling of affection, a great interest or pleasure in something, to feel a deep affection, a desire, a longing or fondness for someone or something. A general conception of love is a warm feeling that is based upon knowing and accepting someone. There is mutual learning, caring and growth, and also happiness. Some kinds of love are romantic love, infatuation, puppy love, family love, intimate love, physical attraction and friendship. Romeo and Juliet's love is unique. In the film, it is portrayed well as love at first sight. They managed to accept each other and overcome the fact that their families were rivals and that their love was forbidden. .
             Their physical attraction to one another grew into romantic love and commitment. They remained truthful and loyal to each other, and eventually followed each other to death. Rosaline was someone who Romeo was physically attracted to and also who he thought he loved, although Rosaline didn't love him back. Paris's is physically attracted to Juliet. He is infatuated to Juliet as he desperately wants to marry into the Capulet family. There is also a family love between Romeo and Mercutio. This is shown when Mercutio stands up for Romeo when Tybalt challenges him. These are a few types of love that Shakespeare demonstrates through Romeo and Juliet. There are many forms of community in Verona. A community is a group of two or more people who reside in a certain locality, share government, and usually have a common cultural and historical heritage.
