My mom has always pushed me to be the best I can be, but by doing what I have done I realized I have broken her heart. Now I will do the best I can to make up for my mistakes and not put my life to a waste. I want to succeed in everything I do and I will accomplish that by choosing good friends that have the same goals as me, staying away from trouble, and just simply thinking of what can happen before I do something. As I get older I want to be a man who has a degree, a good job, and a beautiful wife. I also want friends I can trust and friends that make good decisions.
As a sophomore in high school my goals are to take school seriously, choose friends wisely, make good decisions, practice hard in basketball, and have a gpa of 3.3 - 4. By taking school seriously I will make good grades. Making good grades isn't hard to do you just have to stay focused and do the best you can. In your first year in high school you have to be careful of who you hang around and who you make friends with. The type of friends I would want are friends who want to succeed in life. I want friends who have the same interest and goals as me also so we can relate with each other. Making good decisions isn't hard to do, all you have to do is think about what could happen before you do it. Parents and friends can help you make the right decision because those people want the best for you. My GPA doesn't have to perfect my first year, but by the time I am a senior I want it to be close to a 4. I have to maintain a B average to have at least a 3.3. .
By my junior year I want to start thinking about career options, put in the work towards graduation, keep practicing in basketball, and have a GPA of 3.5-4. When I go to college I want to major in kinesiology to become a coach. I want to become a coach because I want to stay around the game of basketball. In my junior year I want to have a GPA of 3.5-4. This means I need to be focused and cut time down with my friends.
