A Woman's Right for Abortion

How many times have we heard the story about a woman getting pregnant and not ready for a baby? We hear it all over media, social networking, and at health class in school. It makes sense that over half of the pregnancies in the U.S. are unintended, because we hear about girls not being able to care for a baby everywhere (Unintended Pregnancy in the United States). So what should a woman do if she gets unintentionally pregnant: should she have the baby, put it up for adoption, or abort it? No matter what she decides, it's ultimately her decision and we can't decide for her. Every human being has the right to do what they want with their own body.
Pro-life people argue that abortion is murder but the definition of murder is "the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another". Abortion is legal in the U.S. and a fetus is not a human being, therefore abortion is not murder. A fetus only has the potential of becoming a human being. A fetus goes through stages of becoming a human being, just how an egg goes through stages of becoming a bird and a seed goes through stages of becoming a plant. Every human being went through the stage of being a fetus and then being born. Once a fetus is born it is considered a child. Just how when an egg hatches, the fetus inside is now considered a bird. When a fetus is born and takes its first breath of air without the support of its mother, that is when it is considered a child. A fetus is dependent of its mother and it connected with her through an umbilical cord. Through this cord, the fetus is provided oxygen, nourishment, and food from the mother. The definition of a parasite is "an organism that lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host's expense". This means a fetus is merely a parasite with the potential of becoming a human being.
Abortion is going to happen even if it is illegal. It has been happening since the moment women were able to become pregnant, so basically the start of human civilization.
