Law and the Human Condition

What does law mean for me? The human condition is consistent regardless era, space, or place. Every society from hunter gather to advanced technological societies make any rules in an attempt to settle social behavior. Law plays different roles in the life of every person. Law is a set of societal norms established as rules and statutes made by the legislature for keeping order in the state. It is used to regulate the state, and is enforced by the courts; regulating the relationship between the organs of government and the subjects of the state, and the relationship or conduct of subjects towards each other. .
Law is something that makes people create society and live in relative harmony by common rules. People must be governed by law to deterred from deviant behaviour. Even in ancient times people created customs and traditions, that later morphed into common law and then into codified law, such as hammurabi's code and code of bushido. .
Let's imagine the situation where a "state" attempts to exist without law or the means to enforce the law. I've put the word "state" in quotes, because a state cannot exist without law. I define a state in this case as the territory, where people live. And what will we see in this place? Many people behaving themselves as they want, murdering without any punishment, committing vandalism, but for all that escaping blame and conviction. those people will not know what is right or wrong, they have no possibility to find it out. Such a state will not exist for a long. A good example to such a situation is the Soviet film How to Kill Dragon. this film shows after the disappearance of strong totalitarian power, a laissez faire state of organization propelled the people into absolute anarchy. No rules, no law no government, therefore no society - everything is connected. .
Social deviance is a very broad term, which describes actions or behaviors that violate social "norms.
