1. Analysis of the poem "Noises from the school
The poet has a negative attitude to school, she doesn't like change, and she likes things to stay the same. ... It is quite clear that the poet has an obsession with time. ... Realising that with the children and sounds were dying away that her inspiration has died away. ... The poem ends with the line " from where my comparisons come" The comparisons I think the poet is writing about are the children turning to adults and the noise to silence.
