" This case fall in to the 4.5 million U.S.-born children whose parents were illegal at the time of birth, according to the Pew Hispanic (Passel, 2011). Also the research says that proximally eight percent of all the U.S birth per year come from at least one illegal parent. In this kind situations the government of the United States automatically recognize this child as a true citizen due to the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment, despite the citizenship or illegal status of the mother.
             After 17 years of illegal permanency in the country the mother was deported back to Mexico. Leaving his seventeen year old boy whit one relative in the state of Arizona. She is now asking what she has to do to be reunited with his son and as well to become a U.S legal resident. For her, a person who has been deported from the country will encounter a tough situation to get another visa or even the green card in order to allow her the legal reentry to the country. First it needs to be analyzed the reasons why she was deported, how many violations she committed and so on. Next is to analyze I she is eligible for a visa or a green card; in her case she is eligible for a green card because she is an immediate relative to a U.S citizen (her child). The only problem she will immediate confront will be the fact that her child is not over the 21 years old, this mean she will have to wait for her child to turn 21 years old in order to start the process of a family based green card. But first according to the Handbook of Immigration Law, "The petitioner (the mother) must provide birth certificate showing the names of the mother and the father." For this it will be necessary for the mother to look the assistance of a private immigration attorney in order to guide her in the whole process to get the family base green card trough his U.S citizen child.
             This is a situation that still concern the government of the host country in this case the United States.
