My Strengths and Weakness

            Like any other individual I have my own strengths and weaknesses, understanding these two variables has been of high importance because it has enabled me understand how to cope up with different situations in life. My first strength lies in my ability to establish quick interpersonal relationships with people around me. This has enabled me to get along smoothly with different types of people I interact with. My ability to cope with different types of people has been enabled by my social character which has made me highly effective in team work. Another strength that I posses is that I have garnered significant knowledge in politics since I was young. I have always had keen interest in politics since my early years, this has influenced me to keep a close eye to politics and current affairs; this has in turn enabled me to have significant understanding about politics. I believe this knowledge will be paramount in enabling to effectively tackle my major in political science. Another of my strength is that I have been brought up by parents who have a lot of interest in politics; their involvement in political issues has also significantly increased my interest and bolstered my knowledge in politics. .
             On the flip side of the coin, I also have weaknesses as an individual. The first weakness is that at sometimes I find myself losing my temper especially where someone has wronged me. Although I can not say that I am short tempered I believe that losing temper at certain circumstances negatively impacts on my emotional intelligence. I need to gain more emotional intelligence to overcome this weakness. Another weakness that I have is that sometimes I find myself too reprimanding and critical.
