A four year old, a puppy, and a true bond is how it all began. My love for animals has been very strong since I was a child. Everyone has had some type of pet and has thought about or even had some type of medical care for animals. A lot of animals have medical needs just as humans do. Veterinarians and animals are not as appreciated as human doctors and humans. .
Some people say that animal life is not as important as a human life, but a lot of people don't realize that humans and animals are not as different as a person would think. Studies have shown that animals can be used to help cure blindness and they share some of the same illnesses and diseases that humans have. To some people animals are like diamonds, and are cared for as well as their own children. I don't understand why a person would think that a veterinarian's job is easier or some what not as hard as a human doctors. Yes, a human doctor has to know how to take care of both male and female patients, but on the other hand a veterinarian has to know how to take care, treat, perform surgery on, and deal with any and every kind of animal that walks in the door. What about that sounds simple? They are also at risk of illnesses from the animal such a rabies, ticks, and even the flu.
Animals and the people who give them medical care are worth a million dollars for all that they do to help animals and their owners. Humans and their doctors and veterinarians and animals should be praised the same because they both help save lives. If you want to save human lives in the future or get rid of some animal illnesses, we should treat all things the same and not think that one is more important than the other. To some, people doctors are more important than the other and veterinarians and animals are not as appreciated as human doctors and humans. Veterinarians and human doctors, although different work fields, are in some ways the same and in others different when it comes to schooling.
