The third and final movie in the "Night at the Museum" trilogy is "Secret of the Tomb," and this movie definitely provides a night to be remembered. In this film the night guard, Larry Daley, travels the world to save the magic that brought the museum to life in the first place, before it is gone forever. To accomplish this he convinces the museum director to allow him to take exhibits to a London museum, where all the excitement begins. When they get to the London museum they are unsure of what to expect because all the exhibits there are coming alive for the first time. Overall, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb is a wonderful movie for all types of people! The three main factors that contribute to this movie's significance are the actors and their characters, the music keeping the mood fun and ever-changing, and the special effects that keep the audience in awe throughout this adventurous comedy.
First of all, the actors and their characters play the biggest role in keeping this movie interesting. To start with, Ben Stiller plays the role of Larry Daley. As night guard, it is Larry's job to ensure the safety of all the exhibits and to save the magic that brings them to life at night. His ability to take action, and protect everyone around him, is what makes him a truly admirable character. Then there is Teddy Roosevelt, played by Robin Williams, who Larry considers "A good man to have in a crisis," which there are plenty of predicaments where his assistance is needed. Teddy not only plays Larry's right hand man, but he also provides a bit of a history lesson throughout the film. As time goes by throughout the film, Teddy slowly loses movement as he turns back to plastic, but is still willing to help in any way he can. Then, there is the dynamic duo, Jedediah and Octavious, who add humor, and a modern twist to the movie. These two, played by Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan, can be seen posting to Facebook and taking "selfies" in this fun-packed adventure.
