Catholicism and Christianity

"Catholicism is a denomination, and is, therefore, a subset of Christianity. All Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics" (Catholicism vs Christianity, 2015). The world has more than a billion Catholics and with the ever growing religion, it will only get larger in number. To be a Catholic means to have complete faith in God and his divine grace. Having God's divine grace means to obey it and keep it holy as it was created by God and given to his people. The religion itself is based on this and the people take it very seriously. Catholics believe that all people are of good nature but when one commits a sin it not only hurts that one person but the people and the Church. Catholics are a Christian sect and believe in one God. Like other Christians, they believe that Jesus is God's Son which goes hand-in-hand with the belief in the Holy Trinity. God the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit are what makes up the Holy Trinity. The Catholics basic beliefs are the bible; which was created by God and is not wrong in any way. The Ten Commandments which are what the Catholics live by for moral and ethnic reasoning. The Ten Commandments are do not kill, do not covet, do not worship any graven object, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not commit adultery, Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy, honor thy father and mother, do not take the Lord's name in Vain, and Thou shall not have any other gods before me. .
The interview that I did was with a good friend of mine who has attended the same church for 21 years. It is called St. Marks Roman Catholic Church of San Marcos, Ca. I interviewed her after work hours at Starbucks when we both had about an hour of time to talk about her religion. I asked her plenty of questions to get the right answers about her church before I went there to observe and be a part of it as well. The mass I went to was very interesting.
