The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I have always questioned myself how would it feel to be under somebody's control, and live a life that you cannot decide your fate. In the novel "The Hunger Games," written by Suzanne Collins, the districts have been controlled and tortured by the Capitol because of their rebellion. The punishment is that each district has to send two children from the ages of 14 to 18 as the tributes to fight in a battle against each others in able to find the winner. Katniss is one of the main character with her partner is Peeta, they are the champion of the Hunger Games. At the end of the book, when Katniss and Peeta can't stand to see either one of them die, they commit suicide so none of them will be alive to be a winner. These people are unwilling to do it, but they don't have any choice. I don't agree with the idea of the Capitol to be control over the districts and punish them. This idea of controlling other people is a cruel idea. .
The idea of controlling over other people is cruel because the kids are forced to fight for their chance of living. For example, they are sent to the arena every year to enter the Hunger Games, and they are not guaranteed that they will be survived. They have to enter the game even though they are not murders, but the capital forced them to fight for their survival. According to the book, Katniss doesn't want to hurt any of her enemies but she can't do anything because that is the only thing keep her survive. This shows that the Capitol have killed a lot of the kids with their power just to make it an entertaining game. The kids are innocent and they don't deserve to get kill just to entertain the strangers from the Capitol. Also, the Capitals gives a lot of challenges and evil stuffs to eliminate the tributes. This idea of being control is brutal for the kids' lives are depended on the Capitol, while it supposed to be their decisions. .
Another example shows that the idea of controlling is inhumanity is that their independence is being invaded by the Capitol.
