Most of the cultures have religions, beliefs, myths and legends. Majority of the humanity believe supernatural beliefs. Some scientists say that believing makes people feel happy and they also add believing is in the nature of humanity. How does religious people feel when compared non-religion or atheist people? Does religions really affect a persons feelings? If it is what is the impact of religion in a happy person life? Everybody thinks about life and god, but which answer makes people happier? Thinking rational or irrational? Every religion has different ideas. It does not matter beliefs are true or wrong the question is does it make people happy or unhappy? .
There are a number of mechanisms through which religion may make a person happier, including social contact and support that result from religious pursuits, the mental activity that comes with optimism and volunteering, learned coping strategies that enhance a person's ability to deal with stress, and psychological factors like reason for existing. According to Mark Larrimore "Most of the happiness that religion brings about seems to come from the social setting it offers. It satisfies the so-called 'need to belong' that is one of the most fundamental conditions for human happiness"(Larrimore, 2010) He thinks Religious people are happier in a religious country. Religion makes people happier because it creates belonging feeling and that emotion is very important for human happiness. On the other hand, in atheist countries people are more modern or scientific but they are not as happy as religion people. People naturally find answers for life and existence due to human curiosity. Religion gives people reasons to live; it gives codes for people's life style and solutions. On the other hand, an atheist person creates his codes and reasons by himself and he generally become less happy than a religious person, because he builds his reasons and codes by himself, so he can change them.
