The Adoption Process

The lives of these children are being affected because of the suffering that they have gone trough. Not only have they faced problems of being abandoned, abused, or orphaned, but they have been affected emotionally. These difficult situations that the children have gone through have been really hard for them so there has to come a stop for this by showing the affection of love from a parent to a child when adopted. .
"In the road to adoption, adoptive parents must carefully consider all of the challenges and problems they may face through the process, not just the end result" (Ireland). People who are thinking about adopting a child may find the problems with adoption influence them to choose different types of adoption or better prepare them for the process. Cancellation of the process of adoption is a big issue for the parents who want to adopt a newborn child. Until the papers are signed the adoption is not finalized, and takes a few weeks to a few months after a child is given to the new family. In the process of the adoption the birth mother has the right to cancel the adoption and take the child back. The birth of a baby is an emotionally charged event for everyone in this process, such as birth and adopted parents, and the cancellation of adoption can result in broken hearts and hurt feelings (Ireland). Adoption is not easy. It is one of the most complicated emotional arrangements in which every individual is involved (Dudley 21). The adoption process is not too easy but not impossible. The adopting parent must know that it is a long process and some of this process can be sad and unfortunately canceled because in the course of the process the birth mother can change her decision to give her baby in adoption. Although many families are discouraged by the adoption process, waiting patiently and working through the difficulties can eventually bring a child into the family.
