During the summer of 1993, Michael released that he let his friends sleep in the same bed as him at his Neverland ranch. This is when the controversy began where media was accusing Michael Jackson of sexual child abuse. Michael became very close with Chandler's family, that even journalists said Evan was getting jealous of Michael being more involved with his son than he was. Throughout this time, his personal life was changing including his appearance and his behavior added controversy which damaged the image journalists had of him. Luckily the Chandler family did not have enough evidence of this so called abuse and Jackson was not charged. After this happened he married twice and fathered three children. Things began to turn around for him and everything was good for awhile. After all the nasty rumors about him sexually abusing little boys he found a way to look on the bright side and turn his life around. Everybody goes through crazy obstacles in their life; but Michael was one to not let them get in the way, which reinforced the way journalists looked at him. Further making a turning point in his life. Michael should be remembered for all the good he did and not the awful rumors that were spread by media. .

Michael began his singing at a young age as the lead singer of the Jackson 5 who began playing in 1964. Throughout these early years the Jackson 5: Jackie, Jermaine, Tito, Marlon and the lead Michael performed at local clubs and started to compete in competitions. Michael and his brothers performed at places where big stars also performed like Jackie Wilson and learned from them even back in the day.
