Relationships in The Great Gatsby


Gatsby bought her a beautiful house in West Egg that overlooks the water to what they both admire greatly. There's a garden and pool to accommodate both of them. It is easy to tell that they will live a long happily married life together in their beautiful home. .
             Daisy and Tom.
             Tom Buchanan is a strong willed man, who graduated from Yale, that stole the heart of the easy going Daisy Fay, now known as Daisy Buchanan. As the two became closer they realized that they could spend their lives with one another. They traveled together all over the world which brought them closer together. When they met in New Orleans and got engaged a few years later, both of their families were thrilled along with them to hear and celebrate the news. Everyone thought that Tom was a formidable candidate for Daisy's husband.They also have spoken about having children in the future now that they are married. .
             The wedding took place on a "warm windy afternoon" and the chairs were lined with "pungent roses." Daisy was wearing "a string a pearls" around her neck that Tom had given her the day before the wedding to wear. Many people attended their wedding, it was a gathering that anyone who is anyone knew about. After the ceremony was finished the many guests that attended had the option to ride ponies and play polo with Tom, because it happens to be one of the things he excels in. The guests were served five course meals and they all left with goody bags in tow. The wedding planners were very punctilious to say the least. Yale graduate brought down over a hundred people in his private cars and bought out an entire floor of the Seelbach hotel for them all to stay. So when they brought out the "frosted wedding cake," it was a giant success with everyone. The house they are going to be living in as a married couple is a brilliant Georgian Colonial mansion that is perfect for the both of them.
