Improper way of dumping wastes can cause floods because it makes the sewers clog. It can also pollute bodies of water and can cause the death of marine life that resides in water ecosystem. The resulting mess when trashes are thrown into bodies of water can cause foul odors, as well as toxicity. Since people toss garbage wherever they want to, it can also affect human causing asthma, skin rashes, allergies and other diseases. Death could also possibly happen to both human and animals for it is like a chain that our illegal actions will return to us when time comes. When we live in unclean surroundings, our health suffers. We throw garbage here and there without caring that people might step on it. It attracts flies and mosquitoes which carry harmful germs with them. When we eat food infected by germs, we are likely to suffer from certain terrible diseases like cholera and diarrhea. Therefore, people must learn the right way of disposing our garbage [Stu25].
As the number of people increases in a certain place, the state of being industrialize is also increasing. So, it emphasizes that waste management is becoming a serious problem not only in the Philippines but also all over the world. Proper way of waste disposal is the most crucial issue to the public, especially to the health of the people and the effect of it in the environment. In order to prevent this kind of problem in the society, people must learn the proper disposal of our garbage. Proper disposal aims to have a cleaner environment and lessen the chances of spreading diseases [Stu25]. Improper garbage disposal poses a serious threat to nature. People should know how to segregate their own waste and learn how to recycle and to practice it more often.
