Observation and Personal Analysis

The person that I analyzed is Andrew in my CIS class. I chose him because he seemed like an interesting person. A perfect way to describe Andrew is by saying he is a "Hipster Ginger." I am guessing that he is in his 50's, which isn't completely out of the ordinary for someone from his generation to be taking a computer class. Although Andrew is not the typical college student, he is a very peculiar person and very interesting to observe. .
On the first day of observing Andrew, I noticed that his clothing choice was a little odd for someone his age. He had ripped jeans that looked like they were from Hollister. Andrew also had skater shoes on, a shoe that is typically worn by someone of a younger generation. In addition, he had a windbreaker from the bookstore that said Tiffin University on it, which is age appropriate. Andrew was carrying his backpack on one shoulder, which is something also associated with teenagers and the younger generation. When I saw him 3 days later he was once again dressed like a teenager. Andrew had a tight fitting red and white striped polo, with a flat brimmed baseball hat that was a matching red. The hat had the brand name "Tapout" on the side, and he was wearing it backwards. In addition, he was wearing ripped jeans and skater shoes again. I saw him two more times that day, once in the cafeteria for lunch and the other for dinner. He was wearing the same outfit from earlier. The last time I saw Andrew was the next day in the cafeteria again. He was dressed a little more age appropriate this time. He was wearing some sort of light brown t-shirt with writing on it, like a store advertisement, and appropriate jeans. I was not able to see what shoes he was wearing. Andrew seems to dress like a stereotypical teenager, which is a little strange because he seems to be in his 50's.
The first day that I saw Andrew was only for a few seconds because it was just in passing.
