The individual will no longer have the power to control the work being done nor will they be able to be credited for it, and will cause loss of integrity by no longer having a strong moral principle. Human dignity will also decrease by loss of self-worth and self-respect, because the individual's work will be of little worth and hardly respected for doing a job as simple as pushing a button. An individual, whose job has been completely taken over by a machine, now has complete loss of self-worth, respect, honor, and empowerment. A person who is completely replaced by a machine has now lost all human dignity. The machine has shown that they can be more efficient and produce a better product than that individual, showing what little worth and empowerment the individual had. People have become too accustomed over the past generations to simply rely on technology to do all the dirty work for them. Technology has become so advanced over the years that no one really has to think for themselves anymore. But if we can't think for ourselves are we really free human beings? Can we really respect ourselves and honor our decision if we can't do critical thinking on our own?.
Human beings have not only lost their dignity by relying on technology to do their jobs but to do their critical thinking and interactions for them as well. People lose their human dignity when technology controls how an individual critically thinks and how people communicate. Technology has become so advanced people don't have to think for themselves but this disables a person from having the ability to have strong moral principles, self-worth, self-respect, and empowerment. This causes a decrease in human dignity because these individuals cannot earn respect from others if they have no sense in critical thinking. It also causes people to lose self-worth because they longer thinking with the human mind and instead through technology causing them to lose their strong moral principles and empowerment.
