Contributing Factors to Better Health



             Time and Transitions.
             Time is the factor which transmute the situations, attitudes and the philosophy. Transitions is a progressive methodology to engender the process of maturation in persons that may affect their health and healthy living styles. Time and transitions both are working together in life. Before three years ago, I had a stable income and lived with my parents as joint family. But, situation, attitude and thoughts of persons in the family were transmuted by time. Nowadays, I have no stability of income and residence, which cause illness of my convivial, cultural, environmental, spiritual, physical and most consequential psychological wealth. I have no family doctor and I am not cognizant of healthcare systems for primary care. Young adult people have to face these quandaries and they have to develop the mechanisms for healthy living, either temporarily or permanently (Marshall, 2011). Quality of health and healthy living in that period of life shows maturation of persons. .
             Context and Culture.
             The cultural context is the way of living for the group which has some different values, credences, rules and communication from other groups of society. Every persons have their own culture. They are living according to their cultural values and beliefs, which are emanating from generation to generation with some modifications. My religion is Jainism, which has some different values and beliefs from other religions. According to my religion, I eat only vegetables, excluding roots. Nutrition plays a major role to my health and healthy living styles. So, it affects my physical and biological properties. If I am not following my culture, it will affect my spiritual, psychological and gregarious health. Always we have to keep a backup plan for the consequences of cultural restrictions. We have to endeavor to get the best cultural environment for better health and healthy lifestyles.
