Have you ever heard the statement: "Trust, freedom, beauty. And above those things I believe in love?" Many people might think that those words refer to the love story. That is true. That statement came from a French movie where a bohemian writer falls in love with the most beautiful courtesan of the Moulin Rouge who is dying. I have seen this film just once in my life, and the story has been ingrained in my mind and heart-- and I am going to tell you why. Love is a feeling, a concept, and a value that every single person in the world can believe in. There are so many kinds of love, but the one that surpasses all others is parents' love. .
Since I was born, my parents have been always there for me. They were my eyes when I could not see, my voice when I could not speak, and my feet when I could not walk. While I was growing up, they have been the best professors, the greatest model roles, and my inspiration. Sometimes they would get angry, and disagree with what I want; however, I know that there is nothing that they would not do to make me feel their love. They are the proof that unconditional love exists. .
Trust, freedom, beauty, and love have been the essential characteristics of my family even though a great change came about a couple of years ago. I dream big, but what I think is the most important is to work hard and follow those dreams no matter how huge they are. One of my dreams is having the opportunity to become the kind of professional that I would like to be. Unfortunately, my home country does not offer this chance. As a result, I am here. I am currently pursuing a major in Business Administration, while smiling and enjoying my life. However, my parents have left behind everything they had in order to help me fulfill my dream. They have been affected by a new culture, a different language, and new traditions that I know they do not like. They used to have everything they wanted.
