Controversies Around the Iraq War

For more than thirty years and several wars the Iraqi people have suffered immensely and now the ISIS led violence has added to that anguish. Both the U.S and the Iraq government officials are looking for an alternative that would prevent an ISIS takeover and reduce the amount of lives lost and money spent. The alternative leads to a closer relationship and connection to Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki and his unethical sectarian (sect) regime. President Obama has given us reasons to believe that U.S. Military support will be conditional and dependent on adjustment in Maliki's form of operation. Maliki has barred Sunnis from rule and accused Sunnis officials of terrorism. Maliki has since created intelligence technology that only reports to him and strategically placed allies to his cause in influential positions. .
The Obama Administration has been under fire since the withdrawal of troops in 2011 by Bush administration refugees on Congressional committees for ending the war. Their mantra has remained that he removed troops too early and in turn has left Iraq to civil war and with the ISIS attacks, that Iraq has been lost. Never mind that these are the same people that encouraged the war in 2003 and that the choice to remove U.S. troops from Baghdad was signed by President Bush in 2008 as that years Status of forces Agreement (SOFA). Obama tried relentlessly to undo that agreement to no avail. So in 2011 the U.S. troops were removed. Although Obama isn't to blame for the withdrawal of U.S. troops in 2011, he is responsible for making the crisis worse. He supported the civil war in Syria and accepted the operation of ISIS, in hope of over throwing the dictator Bashar al-Assad. .
They opposed the operation of ISIS in Iraq but the wars in Syria and Iraq have merged into one. The Obama Administration is indirectly responsible for allowing ISIS the room to grow and move its operation into Iraq.
