Have you ever been influenced by some important person that helped you be the person that you are today? I have been. The people that have had influence on me are the most important humans beings, my family. One of the places that we spend most of our time is the family room. This room is so big and cozy. It includes comfy furniture, a huge tv, windows with a great view, and an amazing family to spend time in. The walls also include some old and even new pictures, mirrors, and some great quotes in nice picture frames. I love to watch movies, do homework, and also just rest in this room. So this is our room, which is very important to us and has a lot of special things. The most special part of this room is when it brings my family together. My immediate family consist of my dad, my brother and me. We may be small, but they are worth more than anything. I am not really close to my mom or her side of the family. There were some issues with her when I was born, and I haven't seen her since. My dad has helped me through the struggle of not having a mom. He has really showed me how to grow up without a mother. When I was little, all I can remember is him doing my hair and telling me that everything was going to be all right. I have learned from him how to move forward from the past, and focus on the future that God has planned out for me. .
My aunt also fills in as a motherly figure. She is a really huge influence in my life. I think of my aunt as my mom, and honestly have a mother-daughter relationship with her! She has helped me grow up and mature not only as a teenager but as a woman too.Sometimes they push me in certain directions and have high expectations for me, but now I really appreciate everything they have taught me. A lot of people ask me if I miss my mom, and I always say I think anyone who hasn't seen their mom in 14 years would miss her, but I have learned how to accept it and move on.
