Sasquatch is an annual music festival held in central Washington State, where it hosts hundreds of music performances ranging from folk to dance to hip-hop, and rock. This event takes place at The Gorge; it's probably one of the most breathtaking venues in the world. Although the location itself is enough to make anyone melt inside with its unbelievable sights and sounds, it's the people it brings together every year that make this festival a weekend journey worth sharing among friends and strangers. Thousands and thousands of people come from all around the world just for this one weekend held in early summer, most of them have driven for miles from all different directions. After having driven for hours on the open highway, they soon discover they are not alone in this journey. As they approach the out skirts of the festival grounds their vehicle becomes one of the many that are lined up back to back flooding the winding road. Even before they've arrived people blast music in their cars in anticipation of what the weekend has to hold. Everyone is dancing, cheering, and bearing smiles brighter than the sun, as they make their way together for a memorable experience in an unforgettable place.
Soon after everyone has arrived and the traffic conditions have finally calmed down, the big weekend they have all been aching for really begins to take off. Festival goers and partygoers make their way in, and soon after, the once tumbling grass field becomes a blanket of cars, buses, RV's, tents, and of course people. Looking around it's hard not to feel like part of a community; friendly faces walk by saying hello in passing, and people all join together with their friends, fellow neighbors, and campers to enjoy the festivities and celebrate. Whether they are young, old, white, black, hippies or not, they soon co-exist as one becoming a big happy family. With the same frame of minds each person feels ready to take on this exciting adventure together, in hopes for nothing but an incredible time they can talk about for the years to come.
