Arguments for and Against God

What created God? How is it possible for God himself to be out of nothing? Furthermore, understanding of how massive the universe is and how preposterous it is that the one who had the power to create such a thing would be so obsessed with a cosmologically insignificant creature in a minuscule portion of said universe.
Blaise Pascal had an interesting take on the existence of God which he asked if belief or non-belief in God was the riskiest to accept. He says that this wager not be taken lightly but with thoughtful logic and an educational stand-point. One of four possible scenarios will occur. One of them is believing in a God that does actually exist, which would pardon you of going hell or being punished and all is well. If you believe in a God that doesn't exist, then some thought may have been wasted but you are still better off from learning morals and acting just so as to appease the nonexistent God. The other side to that is to not believe in a God that doesn't exist which would not hinder any of your life because there is no God to punish you. The last scenario would be if you do not believe and God does exist. This would mean eternal damnation and punishment of betrayal. What is the safest choice? Logically it would be to believe in God because being wrong in believing has far less negative consequences than not believing and being wrong.
This argument has a very sound level of security of if wrong in believing in God, no harm done. Many people could find solace in thinking that what they are doing will have no repercussions. Some criticism of this, though, is that there are many viewpoints of what God would to those who do not believe. Pope Francis addressed that Atheists could gain entrance to heaven if they live moral lives. Not all Catholics think this way, but it is increasingly stated depending on the branch of many theological religions. Also, to believe in a God that does or does not exist can have dire consequences from shadowing knowledge and understanding of matters to following what could very well be immoral standards that range out to things like genocide.
