Even if they would, he would still go out seeking prostitutes after. .
When Gary Ridgway was married for the second time, his life changed again. His second wife's name was Marcia Winslow. One of the first problems with Marcia was that she did not like his close relationship with his mother. She would have a lot of control over Gary, monitoring his spending and even buying his clothes for him. Another problems was that he would demand her to have sex with him multiple times a day, much like in his previous marriages. Ridgeway would even ask for sex in public places. Soon after he became a devoted Christian. He would go to church regularly and try to bring his wife with him. He would also recite bible verses around the house and at work. Sometimes Gary would even cry during sermons. He was very passionate about religion, which caused a lot of conflict in his life. Although he was very involved in his religion, he still sought out prostitutes regularly. He would often complain about prostitutes being in the area, but at the same time he was more familiar with them on a personal level than most people. Ridgeway hated the fact that he had no control over his sexual desires. Not only was he having sex with women that he wasn't married to, but he was still married to Marcia. However, it was soon discovered that Marcia was having an affair with another man.
