             Some have questioned if same-sex marriage is the true ethical issue or is the real issue that if humanity is to allow gays and lesbians the right to marry than we are validating as a society that persons of the same-sex are having sex? This issue of persons of the same-sex having sex seems to offend and incense some people, let alone the idea of these same sex individuals attempting to marry one another.
