Men, Women and Communication

As tough and rare as it may be for them, when men have problems they do not mind sharing it with anyone as long as they can count on leaving the room with a solution to the problem. Physically, women gather around and sit facing each other and are all about direct eye contact. On the other men, boys do not find the need to face each other or make much eye contact. .
Clearly, from the explanation provided, the gap in communication is a lack of understanding between the two sexes. The perfect example is on the way home after a long day at work, "He " is cruising along, looking out at the road, just wanting to get home and go about the rest of his day. While "she " is in the same car, looking for the opportunity to rant about her day. Whether it is positive or negative, she wants to talk about it all. He does not mean to ignore her or make her feel limited and she is not a crazy women that complains too much; they are just the classic division of communication between men and women. The stereotype of a women nagging about her troubles while a man is cutting her problem off and saying, "Well, why don't you just do this? " is not diminishing her problems it just roots from the lack of understanding as well. What women want from discussing their problems is not a solution, they just want the comfort of being able to share that with someone they trust and also being trusted with the others problems right back. That is what men do not understand because men rarely share their problems. They only do so in hope to receive guidance and a quick solution not a way of expressing the intimacy of their relationship. Answering questions has its differences when it comes to men and women too. When a man is asked where he wants to go for dinner, his response is immediate, " Chipotle. " It is quite simple; he says what he feels not really considering the others feelings toward his opinion of where he feels like eating dinner.
