It is these actions with nature that have created the relationships women are accustomed to in society. With most things in Nature, the relationship between male and female is usually sexual reproduction. Many animal species the female is often bigger and stronger than the males of the same species. In the Baboon species, the females are the dominate leaders in their troops (Baboon). In the time of the gods women were viewed as inferior to man. The purpose of women was to serve man, as was the rest of nature. In some countries it is common for women to be seen as inferior. In our society I believe women are generally viewed as inferior by men. Some people believe that women are inferior because of not only physical traits, but mentally as well. While it is clear women do not have the same physical capacity as men. There have been a number of studies to compare men and women mentally. Women do have smaller brains but it has not been proven that it carries less capacity than that of the male (Result). In most studies men have been better at arithmetic and problem solving, while women showed better memory and multi-tasking skills. It is relationships with man that can be seen as a concern to a feminist. In some cultures the men are fed and nourished before the women. In certain situations the women could go malnourished just because of her relationship with man. I agree women can be viewed as inferior when it comes to strength and size. However, it is because of women that humans are able to reproduce. Gaard and Gruen bring up how nature should be respected. Ecofeminists see the way women have been treated in the past and in other cultures. They want to women and nature to be respected. .
The third model is based on the effects of these actions and relationships. It brings up more questions like the worth and purpose of all living things, not just women. There are many other theories that people have argued for.
