The Romans also had little shawls called pullas that was to be worn outside, and depending on the fashion sense of the times determined how much make up, perfume, and or jewelry was to be worn. For their feet Romans would wear shoes called calceus which was just a sandal like shoe strapped to the foot, mainly for internal wear. And they would wear sandals called soleae's which was a similar model shoe to the modern times, this shoe would completely enclose the foot. Most shoes and sandals were made from varying materials or inexpensive leather. .
Roman food is similar to American ways of eating but also different greatly. The Romans had break, lunch, and dinner just like Americans only they differed in these ways. Breakfast was called jentaculum, and this would be brought to the master's room and would mostly consist of a single slice of bread or wheat pancakes with dates or honey, and instead of juice or milk being served they would drink wine with breakfast (History Learning Site). For prandium, or lunch, the Romans would serve a light meal of bread along with some cheese and sometimes meat. They would usually eat this around 11:00 am (History Learning Site). Before dinner the Romans would have something called cena, this usually happened around late afternoon or early evening and may permitting there were not guest take up to an hour, if by chance there was a guest it could take up to approximately four hours. And for supper the Romans would eat some bread and some fruit, this happened right before bed. The Roman were not big on eating meat so most meals consisted of grains and fruits. Most meals were served with sauces based frome vinegar, honey, peppers, or herbs and spices. The Romans favorite thing to drink was a honey and boiled wine mixture called mulsum.
Roman art is mostly in architecture, painting, sculpture and mosaic work. Although luxury objects in metal-work, gem engraving, ivory carvings, and glass, considered to be more modern terms in relation to Roman art.
