To analyse the Chinese culture that it is a pretty broad topic to research, including literature, music and social values, and so on. However, In this paper, I am not going to discuss the whole Chinese culture in depth, illustrating that the Chinese culture is popular with the general population in UK with some cases and is playing as an important role in UK society today in a holistic approach. There was a report, showing that 26 percent of international students were from China in 2011 to 2012 and the figure is projected to be increased in future ( Universities UK, 2013 ). The strongly growth in the number of Chinese students drives the development of Chinese business, such as Chinese restaurants and Chinese supermarkets. In my own experiences of the almost three years in UK, I think that the amplification of the nature and form of culture will be better in UK at the beginning because it needs to be understood by people, who speak different language and have different culture. As time goes by, I find that the Chinese culture in UK is just some traditional and popular points of root and replication. For example, a Chinese restaurant's door hangs lanterns and the decoration is made in palace style. However, it is the superficial and direct way that makes the Chinese culture to be a part of UK society. The main focus of the research is addressing oneself to the Chinese culture in UK by analysing some cases and related to the EU- China cultural relations.

Recently, a latest report was stated on Huffington Post website, showing that British people spend nearly 30 billion pound on takeaways and fast food every year and the Chinese food is the most popular with British people ( Moss, 2014 ). In other words, British people like the Chinese cuisine. Actually, it is not the authentic Chinese food but just cook food, which meets the taste of different foreigners in Chinese style.
