No two employees will ever be guaranteed to works the same shifts, therefore it would be hard to hold meetings and expect the staff to show up. However, to make things easier for the staff, The Broad Way Café has created an employee portal on their business website. The employee portal is designated to improve employee work ethics and train in the process. The employees will use their last name and a password to log in each week. Each employee is required to log into their portal to do a self-evaluation, mini quiz, and a training session on one of the many policies every employee should know. When employees quit, they will no longer be authorized to log into the employee portal. By preventing ex-employees from entering, insures the business to operate securely and efficiently. .
