The news groups started to air this on television and everyone from the radios were talking about it. Now everyone knew what was going on. People watching it or hearing it, grabbed all of there children from the schools and brought them home. Some family's relatives were in the building that day. For this, they would start to call them to see if they were okay. Some couldn't get reception to say there last goodbyes. (9/11 Commission 1). .
             Residents from the city could see the smoke covering the sky. "We watched as some people who were working, jumping from the ninetieth floor to their death because there was no way out from that far up. " Says one guy at a nearby building. (Stewart 22). The smell and the flames and the smoke were smelt and saw from almost a mile away. (Dudley 24).
             "However this is not America's fight, this is a worlds fight ". (Thompson 98). The aftermath of the buildings was a significant loss. The World Trade Center was designed by Minoru Yamasaki. (World Trade Center 1). They were built as a pair and they fell as a pair. (World Trade Center 1). The building was one hundred ten stories high and it occupied sixteen acres and over 140,000 people passed it daily, but unfortunately it is gone. (World Trade Center 1).
             "When the attack was over, America was wondering what this will eventually do to us. " (Dudley 49). "As one Us officer told a CNN reporter, "these guys turned air planes into mass destruction, and put was put into mass graves ". (Dudley 51). The structure of the building was built for little problems, but not for the flames that were caused from the oil in the planes. The airplanes had damaged the sides of the buildings from the impact. (Stewart 54). The flames made a big impact on the floors, causing them to eventually collapse. (Dudley 98). "People said it was completely black out from the smoke ". (Stewart 44). The fumes were also very bad and you had to run to home cause if you breathe it in, it could harm you.
