We live in a society consists of people vary from ages, from the little toddlers to aged grandparents. Young people are often considered as vigorous and creative, thus they may engage in more different activities in life; older people, on the other side, may choose to lead a life more peaceful and tranquil. However, to say that young people enjoy life more than older people or otherwise will only be one side of the story. In my opinion, every stage of life has its own meaning and beauty to be explored and experienced.
Young people are in the golden age of their life. Life means a series of adventures for them. They can enjoy success from establishing their own business or solving a really big task; they may have a sweet taste of love in their twenties; they come to realize how precious friendship is after through ups and downs with friends; they also cherish the happiness for being a lovable son/daughter of their parents and enjoy the warmness of family life. Yet there is not always the sunshine. They also have to learn how to deal with pressure both in study and work; they struggle to survive in the fierce competition in the society; they are sometimes troubled by love, relationships, etc. Life for young people is not a straight corridor; it may also have some winds and twists. However, it is in the process of experience everything life brings that young people finally understand the meaning of living and become grateful to every day.
Older people have contributed most of their life to the construction of society, now it comes the time for them to have some rest and enjoy happiness and peacefulness. Some people may state that older people can better enjoy life for the government provides them with various social welfares. They also point out older people can enjoy the happiness of being parents and grandparents which young people can not fully understand. The most convincing reason is that older people are cared by the whole society so they feel really comfortable living a life.
