One of the best experiences as a freshman in college is getting to meet new people and experience new things. Down in Tucson at the University of Arizona the best way to do that is to join a sorority or to know people in one. Girls who are in a sorority are the ones who get to experience the adrenaline rush of going to a frat party. Any girls can get into the party as well as receive special treatment from all the guys and have access to the good alcohol. A frat party is an exciting event considering the sights, sounds, and smells that one experiences.
Fraternity parties are the definition of what a party is, boys everywhere and girls half naked. Almost every house has some sort of damaged property wether it be a beaten down door or broken window presumably caused by someone who had way to much to drink. As I walk in I see furniture everywhere. There are chairs stacked up in a corner that start to look like the leaning tower of pisa ready to fall at any second, stay away from that. The floors are flooded with all types of alcohol, and the water they probably used the night before to wash away any throw up. Wine bags hang from the ceiling like it is decor and for some odd reason the boys take deep pride in this. However the twinkling christmas lights that hang around the rooms gives it some attractive sense. Those lights are also the only things that illuminate the room, besides the flashing strobe lights and black lights that light up and make everyone look like a walking highlighter. As for the dance area, which is located anywhere from the backyard to the kitchen, it is packed back to back like everyone is a can of sardines. Every girl who spent hours doing their makeup and curling their hair now looks like they have walked through the desert for days with their faces glistening with sweat. The worst is having the parties in the backyard because guys find it funny to pour cheap, stale beer down from the roof so girls have to avoid that like they are grenades in war.
