This world is one full of malignancy, fiends, and dismay. For these many reasons, this generation creates fictional characters that reflects their shared beliefs and different personalities in order to fight off the evil in town. These heroic characters helps society feel safe in their own skin and when they walk out of their front doors, they are not as scared as before. There are many fictional superheroes, villains, and my favorite- detectives. Selecting between all of America's well-loved detectives can be strenuous, but the two most distinct detectives have to be the famous Sherlock Holmes and Adrian Monk. Why them? And not superheroes like Batman, Spiderman, and Superman? The answer is undoubtedly because they are exceedingly intelligent, renowned, and heroic characters each in their own ways. .
The first point to consider is that Sherlock Holmes and Adrian Monk are both astute and sagacious men. Holmes is one of Europe's most prized possessions with his excellent reasoning and deduction abilities. One of his most famous characteristics is his power of observation. Sherlock Holmes has the ability to scan a room for a brief moment and remembers every last bit of detail. Adrian Monk possesses this rare but gifted ability as well. Sherlock Holmes always solves all his cases using his intuition and uncanny behavior. He always follows his gut and nine times out of ten is correct with any solution he comes up with. One of the many reasons why he is such a great detective is that he is an intellectual man- he uses his pure knowledge rather than his feelings while working on a case. For example, in the novel "The Hound of the Baskervilles", Sherlock Holmes takes on a case that few would ever consider attempting to solve. Likewise, Adrian Monk is an intelligent former homicide detective, although he is a current consultant for the San Francisco Police Department. His extreme case of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and multiple phobias helps him with all his cases.
