2 million people experiencing this disorder. More than half of all male Vietnam veterans and almost half of all female Vietnam veterans have experienced "clinically serious stress reaction symptoms. " PTSD has also been detected among veterans of other wars. Estimates of veterans, who experience PTSD, from the war in Afghanistan, are between 6 and 11%. Current estimates of PTSD in military personnel who served in Iraq range from 12% to 20% " (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
             It is unnatural for a soldier suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder to lose control after entering a room within 5 minutes. Because of their suffering from traumatic experiences these soldiers are aware of their surroundings. They notice those people known to the common world as pranksters and even those people who may pose a threat. They even remember how to use weapons like they were trained and are also aware of what to do when a problem occurs (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). They are conscious of their metric measurements i.e. the distance from entrance to exit, the number of stairs, and even cognizant of the measurements of a window. Trauma causes one to forget his or her sense of belonging, flexibility, personal acceptance, pride, and happiness because of the PTSD symptom of isolation. When a soldier suffers from PTSD the mind also suffers. When experiencing the PTSD episode of events the mind becomes crowded with the memories of expected times and places. In years passed the recall can be just disturbing as the actual event. .
             Social workers, if not already, should provide these services in numerous settings. Social workers also work in different direct practice and advocacy organizations, whether their mission is to specifically assist Service Members, Veterans, and their families with direct services or to advocate with and on behalf of this population (Amdur, 2012). .
             The purpose of this study is to treat symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from the exposure of soldiers to various wars.
